Ah... vacation!!! The summer holidays are here. It's just so darn nice, ay? Enough? Ok.
I made a cryptographic suite today (command line interface ofcourse), it's called ILCE that stands for Industrial Level Cryptographic Engine. In my opinion it is very capable of encoding/decoding every file on your hard disk/floppy/whatever. It's currently compiled on Windows only... soon it'll run on Linux, too. Off to the Projects page!

Heh, the stats link is now removed. :) It sure took a lot of time...
April 21st 2003
Okay... There's now a demo called Asmdemo in the Projects section. It uses SDL, SDL_image and OpenGL. The demo took about an hour to make.
April 21st 2003
Bah... Done some OpenGL demos. I'll upload them (ore one of them) and that particle collision program in this week.
The stats are now removed for i killed my bot. :)
April 11th 2003
Whoa! I've been programming a nice particle collision program (without a cool name this time)... Hmm... Maybe I'll add it to the projects page soon.
Guickel 0.9 has now been released (maybe the last beta version). The new features include font class customization and something else that i can't remember. :) Again, mail me if you have any questions or problems.
Stats are also updated.

Guickel 0.8 is now released and it is now introducing some graphics primitives. Please mail me if you have any questions or problems. Off to the Projects page.
April 2nd 2003
A class based C++ SDL, SDL_image and SGE wrapper library called Guickel is now added to the projects page. It introduces an easy interface to graphics programming in both Linux and Windows. The library has been checked to compile with Dev-C++'s Mingw32 compiler and with GCC 3.2 in Linux. In the case you need some help compiling feel free to mail me.
Stats are also updated. :)

You haven't heard much of me, huh? I've been learning new programming (or should I say scripting) languages, TCL for example. Why TCL? Because the best IRC bot around (eggdrop of course) has TCL support. So I have been also configurating that bot...
I just noticed the length of my update interval... Wow? Two months? I better update this site more often. I might upload some of my TCL scrips here later on.
There's also a new section called Stats as you may have noticed... And sorry but it's in Finnish, I can't help it because the people on the channels that are being logged speak Finnish...

I have programmed little more Splput now (version 1.1). It has a major performance upgrade. When running in 16-bit windowed mode (the desktop and the game in 16-bit color depth), my fps doubled! Be sure to get your copy now!
December 13th 2002
Whee... I guess you all know that today is Friday the 13th. That's odd since nothing bad has happened to me today (I don't believe in such things).
Lately I've been programming a game library, which wraps SDL, SDL_image, SGE and FMOD together. I have planned to put some utility functions into it also. The SquidySoft GameLib (yes, that's what it's called) consists of about 300 lines of pure C++ code and a small test application.
December 8th 2002
Nothing new under the sun... exept I have made a small registration library for C/C++ called SquidySoft KeyLib (what a surprise). But it's for me only (at least now, maybe I could use it for something... hmm...) since I made it just for educational purposes.
The SquidySoft KeyLib generates a serial number unique for each computer, and every program using it has also an identification number. This makes it not possible to use the same registration key in different computers. Of course the library uses a very modern algorithm. At least now I know how to make static libraries. The next thing is dynamic ones.

The version 1.00 of Splput is now released. I have made some serious compatibility patches. Get it now!

The Splput 0.9 is now out. Try it and mail me if you find some “small” things (bugs). The final version should be released before Halloween.
